Hello and thank you for stopping by. This R D Jani welcoming you to LeadershipLessons.net. Call me RJ. I am a student, a lifelong student of leadership. After spending more than 20 years in the corporate world, working at various Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric (GE), Clorox, NBC, Merck, Pfizer, Citibank, Bank of America, NBC, UBS, Warner Music, and many others as a consultant as well as a full-time employee, and being an engineer with MS and MBA degrees, I think there are a few things that I have learned a few things about leadership that can be shared.
I love to read and learn. I love to meet people, and learn from them. And above all, I love to share. This site is just a humble experiment to share whatever I knowledge I have accumulated in the field of leadership.
I believe the future belongs to the leaders, and leadership is not restricted to CEOs and Presidents only. In fact we all need to become leaders in whatever field we are working in. At the same time we can learn a lot from the successful leaders.
Learning is not restricted to schools only, and leadership cannot be obtained by a mere certificate. Leadership education is gained from and applicable to real life. We will explore and try to learn what various leadership qualities are and how can we learn and apply it to real life situations.
There are many people in the world, but not enough leaders. To make the world better, we need leaders.
Let us learn. Let us improve. Let us develop a great leader within us, because the future belongs to leaders.
